The Seattle Seahawks play the Carolina Panthers at 10amPST this Sunday. Be sure to catch the game on FOX.

This game is between two teams, both coming of a loss to a worse team, but one team(the Seahawks) are trying to stay in the fifth seed of the NFC or take over the division. The Panthers on the other hand looked like a playoff team with there star running back Christian McCaffrey and new back up Kyle Allen, but fell out of playoff contention a few weeks ago.
The Seahawks look like heavy favorites for this game against the Panthers but don’t be too sure . The Seahawks have a very weak pass defense and will be playing against two decent receivers in, RB Christian McCaffrey and TE Greg Olsen. The Seahawks defense may be able to stop those two but they have played surprisingly bad against backup quarterbacks like Mason Rudolph, who passed for 2 touchdowns in just one half so Kyle Allen may perform above average.
But, the Panthers defense isn’t any better than the Seahawks defense. Their defense is ranked at about the same. This game will really be Russell Wilson and Chris Carson vs Kyle Allen and Christian McCaffrey.
Keys to the Game
Seahawks
- Russell Wilson needs 250+ passing yards and 2 TDs
- Josh Gordon should get at least 4 targets
- Chris Caron must rush for at least 100 yards and no fumbles(He needs to do more now that Rashaad Penny is out for the year)
- Seahawks defense needs to hold the Panthers to less than 250 total yards
Panthers
- Kyle Allen needs at least 230+ yards a touchdown
- Christian McCaffrey needs at least 150 yards total yards
- Defense needs to stop Russ to less than 200 yards(don’t let Wilson get out the pocket at will and sack at least twice.
- At least one takeaway
Final Prediction
The Seahawks will win play below average defense but Russell Wilson will lead them to the win in a close game 27-20.
