5. Baker Mayfield
Baker Mayfield played amazing last season. He was 2nd place for Offensive Rookie of the Year(OROY) behind running back Saquon Barkley. He also led the Browns to a 7-8-1 season. Which is way better than their record in 2017(0-16). He passed for 3,725 yards on a 64% completion rate.
4. Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Even though he doesn’t run as much he used his passing game is great. Because of his great season last year he got a 4 year 140 million dollar contract making him the highest paid NFL player this season. So far the Seahawks are 2-1 with Russell Wilson passing for over 400 yards in their last game. He will have a close to MVP season.
3. Aaron Rodgers
This year Aaron Rodgers has been playing great. He hasn’t for many yards but his team is 3-0. He is pretty old now and this may be his last year in the top 5 list. He also won’t have as much stress on offense. Because, the Packers finally got good players on defense.
2. Tom Brady
It seems like Tom Brady may never retire. It really does. So far this season he is 3-0 with his team scoring 30 or more points in each of the first 3 games, including a 43-0 win against the Dolphins. He already has almost 1,000 passing yards and we are only 3 games into the season.
1. Patrick Mahomes
The reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes. Last season he played amazing passing for over 5,000 yards. This season it looks like he is going to do even better. 3 games into the season and he already has more than 1,100 passing yards. He is averaging about 400 ypg. If plays like this the whole season I am pretty sure he will win another MVP.
